Savio Banholzer :)

Savio Banholzer, born in 1999, is a media designer who lives and works in Mainz (Germany). His work primarily involves print and physical media, as well as 3D and CGI software. These two approaches are often combined by him, with the strengths of each highlighted by the combination.

In terms of content, he always starts with a solid, creative and compelling concept that has attitude. For him, meaningful and justifiable concepts count for more than trend-based, quick designs without a solid foundation.

During his BA in Media Design, he learned how to practically execute visual communication in various media. Additionally, his education in design theory, design philosophy and design research provided him with valuable insight.

These skills often come together in his work to form a holistic approach. In the process, the boundaries between design and art are playfully blurred, and sometimes crossed entirely. For example, in his solo exhibition, »Chains Underwater Freak Me Out.«
